Regarding Transgendered Persons

They don’t exist.

Hold on there.

In the current era, I understand that this is a source of no small contention. People have varying ideas based on varying first principles. This essay is based on my first principles. The following thoughts are an integral part of the worldview of anyone whose truly believes what their Bible has to say. This is, all, sincerely held religious conviction for us.

“… male and female created he them”

God:

• Created space, time, the rules of physics, and the Earth
• Made men and women, living souls, fully formed as we are now, a few days later
• Formed man to reflect his image, in possession of the capacity to reason and be self-aware, unlike the animals which have clever programming at best
• Wants everything to be orderly, and is not the author of confusion
• Wants people to have full joy
• Can be grieved by the actions of men
• Created a powerful entity as a servant, which turned against Him in rebellion. Historically referred to by the Hebrew word for “adversary”: Satan (which is adversarial to people)
• Wants people to have fellowship with Himself
• Considers perversion of his design to be abominable, including sexual perversion

All of these points are integral parts of the Christian worldview, and they exclude the possibility of transgenderism. These stand in stark contrast to the prevailing secular view taken by an increasing number of people and governments which in misguided attempts at equality (professing themselves to be wise they became fools) have chosen to exclude biblical principles from everything. Absent the guidance of the Bible which, properly considered, will yield a worldview which is logical, internally consistent, and comports perfectly with observed reality – men have come up with a system of philosophy that cannot find pure truth from end to end, top to bottom, including:

• There is no God or He didn’t make things like they are now
• Big bang or other cop-out origins theories
• Men evolved from particles to people, guided by nothing
• As we evolved from nothing there is no fixed standard of propriety, and
• Pretty much every aspect of philosophy is an open question so

So the adversary they refuse to acknowledge even exists has 100% bamboozled people.

Where does the concept of transgenderism originate, according to the Christian point of view? It is, entirely, literally, a lie from the devil.  Now be advised this is a finely nuanced point, however cliche is may seem at first blush.

I am aware that trans-identifying people may consider this to be a personal attack. They are mistaken. That we disagree about philosophy is not an attack on the person whose identity is bound up in their own misguided worldview! It is a difference of first principles, which if someone is offended at, they probably don’t understand that people are not ideas, they are people, no matter what they believe. As such, they are limited by reality.

The Bible defines reality for a Christian. People then are entirely confined to “male and female created he them” and “God is not the author of confusion.”

God created male and female for the purpose of filling the Earth He had just made. Homosex can’t do it. Sterile, chopped-up mutilated neo-vaginae & penii can’t do it. These are an ultimate perversion of the design and the actions involved are (Q.E.D.) abominable to God and forbidden either in black-and-white or by heavy inference.

It is plain to see from the Bible that some gender roles are flexible in a way that gender is not. Some godly women have done man-ish things but remained women. There is no biblical distinction between gender and sex for humans. These are synonyms.

But. There is an adversary, the author of confusion. This one wants people unhappy, and wants people to NOT fulfil God’s command to “be fruitful and multiply“.

The recent origin of the current confusion and unhappiness, then, is easily identified: The Devil made them do it.  With no protection from the Holy Spirit in their lives, foolish thoughts can be farmed like a cash crop in the souls of the unregenerate! Now a bumper crop is being reaped, even while the field is re-sown with worse seed.

The progress went something like this:

• Reject God or some aspect of God you don’t like
• Reject the Bible
• Biblical standards are not binding
• Sexual rules are arbitrary
• it’s ok to have MSM & WSW sex
• Intersex attraction is arbitrary
• Sex itself is arbitrary, anything goes
• Why are sex and gender even linked? That’s dumb
• Sex and gender are not synonyms
• If you feel like you got assigned the wrong gender you aren’t crazy, you are right
• It’s normal for some people to not be a fixed or assigned gender
• Obvious solution: gender reassignment!

And here we are, in 2020 USA and all over the world. People without a Biblical worldview will agree with that progression. But there’s a catch.

They are all wrong.

This worldview fails to account for the truth of the matter: The farther people stray from the design of God (who, remembver, wants us to be happy) the less happy we become. Pure biblical Christianity brings joy. Go look at how much joy there is in the transgender community.  The adjective “toxic” is commonly applied – by the more sane members the same community who are not beyond all feeling. I have seen several first-hand reports from as well as heard in personal conversation with transgender-identifying persons, that the community is shockingly bad, with trans people being deeply unhappy.

All of this, doubtless, has the adversary rolling in the aisles laughing. Having planted this confusion, the one who hates these people rejoices in their suffering.

No, they don’t. It’s a lie. Gender is the same as sex, and immutable. The reason suicide rates are the same post-transition is that it’s not a cure, because you can’t change gender. People know this in a very deep subconscious place but they can’t sort it. ‘If I am this way then it’s the way I am and it’s ok, but it’s not ok? The more accepting society becomes, I don’t feel less internal conflict, why?’

Because it is fake. The very idea is contrary to human nature. your perceived identity is contrary to itself – no wonder you have no joy! Gender cannot be changed because it is an immutable part of the self. You are what you were born with.*

• So you are not transgendered
• You are confused
• Having been given a strong delusion  by a being that can inject thoughts into your mind, who hates you

There is hope for you to be happy, but that path starts with accepting an entire reality you have heretofore rejected.

* don’t bring a red herring about actual genetic mutation type intersex people. These are 0.00nothing percent of the population. You’re not that, and you know it. We’re talking about people who self-identified as something contrary to their plain biological sex.

The two policemen in Buffalo were fine

The Emergency Response Team has resigned.  There is no statement out yet, but it is presumably in protest that a couple of them were suspended after giving a light push to a citizen who then fell over because he has bad balance or something.  The guy fell and smashed his head on the pavement after scores of police were trying to clear a street, and he walked up to them and prevented the police from advancing, talking, doing something with his hand you can’t see on camera, and two cops both thought it was a good idea to shove him out of a third cop’s way.

Those two cops were doing nothing wrong. The guy got what you get when you impede police officers lawfully clearing an area and you go be a jackass at them.

Thank You, An Open Letter from an Old Veteran’s Perspective

Dear healthcare worker,

If you haven’t already, hopefully you will soon notice an increase in the number of people who thank you for doing what you do every day. Some of you won’t know what to do with this newfound wave of gratitude from your neighbors, friends, and random strangers. As a veteran, I have an analogous perspective and I offer you my advice: Say “You’re welcome” and think of the following and try not to feel weird about it.

Veterans get this all the time. These days, when someone finds out they are talking to a veteran of military forces, it is almost universal that they’ll say “Thank you for your service.” It feels weird until the veteran finds the proper perspective. Here is some stranger that I never met, thanking me for something they don’t know what I did, in some cases before they were born. They don’t know if I put my “110%” into it, or if I was a dirtbag slacker. They don’t have a specific incident in mind for which they are grateful. They don’t even know when or where I served my country. But still they all express gratitude.

From the fresh veteran’s perspective: I did my duty, I did my time, maybe some bad things happened, maybe they didn’t, but I got out and I moved on with my life. Mostly moved on, anyway. It was ‘just this thing I did’ and now here is some stranger thanking me?

From the civilian’s perspective, I was sticking my neck out for them. The most horrible of things could have happened to me and mine, and this grateful stranger doesn’t know if they did – but they could have. They don’t know what hazards I endured, but they do know there was a term of years when I put myself at risk to defend them and everything they hold dear. It goes without saying that there were sacrifices involved, and these were on their behalf, so they are grateful.

I don’t know you. I never did something specifically for you. But I did something for a class of people that includes you. I did some things and you are grateful so “You’re welcome” is the polite response. Not many ask for details. It’s apparently enough that they know I did something for them.

Healthcare worker, in normal times your daily routine is fairly routine. You go to work, you do some stuff that is common for you. Patient (x) needs (x) amount of (x) therapy, sign the chart, swipe your badge and come back tomorrow. I’ve talked to some of you, and you are not inclined to think what you do is extraordinary. The people you treat every day, some of them are grateful on an individual basis for individual things you did for them. You can understand that. You saved Joe’s life, he’s grateful. You helped Mary’s arm feel better, she’s grateful. You gave somebody a scrip for medicine they think is going to help, hey they’re glad and grateful. You intubated someone and watched their sats like a hawk while it was touch-and-go, they’re grateful. That’s easy to understand.

But here is a stranger coming up to you and clapping, seriously? Yeah, seriously.

COVID-19 is a game changer for all of us. Usually you only help “other people”, a few patients; not all of us. This year, you are doing something for a class people that includes all of us. Maybe (hopefully) you never have to help me in particular, but you are helping some of us to deal with this new illness. Here I sit in the comfort of my “Stay at home/stay safe” couch, and you are not only going out to work your usual (sometimes long) shift. You are putting your health at risk. Not just like regular, where you always get a cold during the annual cold season. Not just like regular, where you might pull a muscle moving a patient. For the novel coronavirus, while you are doing your normal job someone can seriously injure or even kill you invisibly, in a moment, by accident.

We get that. You are putting yourself on the line in a way that could be harmful to you, to protect some of us, some of our parents, some of our grandparents. And you don’t quit. You keep going back day after day after day. Some of you are going to be losing record numbers of patients through no fault of your own, every day – and the next day you will go back. Because the patients need you, and it’s your thing you do. It’s who you are. You have a little packet of employee access cards on your lanyard and they all have your picture on them so you will go back again because that’s you.

You don’t have to. You could hang it up. You could zip up one more bag and say that’s enough forever and leave the rest of us wanting when our turn in hospital comes. But you’re going to be there tomorrow.

For us. We recognize your risk. We recognize your willingness to sacrifice for our sake.

For you, maybe it’s just ‘the thing you do’ but we see you fighting our invisible enemy for all of us. So thank you.

Complete and total vindication of Donald Trump, and it means nothing to the political opposition

OK so the Mueller report says there was no collusion between any Americans and the Russians trying to mess with the election.  This reinforces the similar conclusion from the Senate’s investigation.  According to people who are willing to listen to investigators on both sides of the political aisle:

There was

never

any evidence that the Trump campaign was conspiring with Russian agents to interfere with the 2016 election.  There was never any evidence of it.

. . . except for the Steele dossier.  The Steele dossier, which was paid for by Clinton dollars and was full of literally false information.  Including known lies and a prank from 4chan idiots involving prostitutes and urine.  It was known by the FBI to be Clinton opposition research FAKE stories, the dossier.  Some people in the FBI tried to warn other people in the FBI that it was fake and they should be careful with it.  What did they do? they lied to the FISC to get their warrant, and lied again to renew it three times.

So we are interested in the truth, yes?  We are willing to spend ten-millions of dollars and employ dozens of people for years to find the truth, yes?  We don’t want criminal activity to go unpunished, n’est-ce pas?  If that is the case then the question should now properly shift to: why was this done?

Some of us have a pretty good idea of why.  But you’ll want me to take off my tinfoil hat before telling you.  It will sound like madness today.  Let the investigation be concluded and then you will find yourself so shocked at the depth and malignity of this scandal that you will hardly believe it could be real.

So now the press corps will shift to mention of Obstruction of Justice by Don John Trump.  I will only remind you of the requirements for a case of obstruction of justice:

1. There must have been a crime under investigation
2. The investigation/trial process must have been obstructed somehow, or with corrupt intent someone intended to obstruct the process.

Donald Trump did not collluuuuuuuude with muhRussians to mess around in the election.  There was never a crime and everyone in the investigation knew that.  SO there cannot have been obstruction of justice.  Donald Trump actually took no action to impede the investigation (contrariwise, he co-operated (!) as stated by Messrs Mueller and Barr).  SO there cannot have been obstruction of justice.  The President is the absolute boss of the Department of Justice. He could literally have fired everyone and stopped the investigation.  He could have insisted his underlings stop or actually impede the investigation in various ways, and he never did.  The absolute worst you find in the Mueller report is that he was frustrated and wanted the investigation to stop but utterly failed to stop the investigation.  If words mean anything, then there was no obstruction of Justice by D.J.Trump.

Judge the quality of your chosen source of news accordingly.

At Least the Nazis Had Respect for Motherhood…

Today I learned, the USA is worse than the National Socialist Party of Germany in the 1930s in one significant respect: we have lost the motivation as a nation to protect the babymakers. This is how you lose a society*.

The Wizards of Smart have decided that, in the name of Equality, women will be allowed into all combat roles in our military forces. This is bad enough. But in a couple of years when all the paperwork is done, the women of “fighting age”**will also be required to register for the draft. Because people demand equality. Specifically, there is a lawsuit now going forward to pursue the claim that a male-only draft is unconstitutional.

The feminists wanted equality. This is what equality looks like. Like it or not ladies, I don’t think you should be out there getting shot-at. And I’m still holding the door for you. And I know you like it, because you thank me and smile when I do it. Probably because I live in a civilized part of the world, not some whacko college campus where they’d berate me for it (and be berated in return) 😉

Just a dash of islam thrown in for sport!

Most English-speakers have been using the terms ISIL or ISIS when referring to the group that calls itself The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria. The occasional nutter has been calling them DAESH for a few years now, and I’m going to start doing so as well, for the following reasons.

1. They don’t like it. They really, really, don’t like it. They’ll kill your family if you say it, level of don’t like it. Primarily [deleted] those guys and what they like. I’ll say what I please, dashies.*
2. It’s the SAME THING as saying ISIS, but it’s a funny way of saying it. Think of how people would react, every time you were referring to daesh, and instead of using the popular acronym, you said “The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria” a dozen times in a paragraph. That would be odd, right? But DAESH is an acronym as well, and it’s the same as ISIS. DAESH is an acronym in *Arabic* though, so it’s even closer to the group’s name in the the oh-so-sacred (the language of “god”) language they use. Except it’s not at all. Because in Arabic, nobody uses acronyms. It’s just not done. Think how weird people would think you are if you said the whole name of every word that gets an acronym, then multiply it ten times. That’s how weird it is to use acronyms in Arabic.  The simple act of saying daesh is making fun of them because it’s a weird word.  THE single most common thing in the Koran is the call for and/or pronouncement of damnation and eternal torment on people for making fun of Mohammed and his newly-promoted formerly-low-grade “god.” The islamists *really* don’t appreciate being poked fun of – so let’s go ahead!
3. It’s a new word to suit the new organization. They don’t like new words or concepts that much, hence the jihad to return to the 7th century way of doing things. Bonus points: the neologism sounds like a slightly-demeaning word that doesn’t mean The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria at all.  Think, if some super-serious group of serious people came up with a name with an acronym of FOO, and they wanted you to call them FOO and think “kung fu, badass mofos!” but instead people called them food, fools, poo, foot, or similarly not-the-same-idea kinds of words. It sounds like you’re making fun, to call them DAESH, in Arabic. They don’t like that.
4. Calling them ISIS or ISIL in English is treating them seriously as a State, and in a small way giving in to their demands for respect. Mock the enemy and make him a subject of ridicule when you speak of him, vs. giving small respect when you speak of him. This is the most important reason of all to say DAESH instead of ISIS.
5. If you’re that kind of a reactionary, it’s different to what President Obama says (ISIL) (unless he changes his mind) (this item is a joke, by the way) ( 🙂 )

It’s not a word that doesn’t translate. It’s not a word loosely related to other words in Arabic. It’s an acronym that is inherently strange to the Arabic-speaker, and slightly funny – regardless of ill-informed news reports to the contrary.

and BTW, DAESH is not a perfect translation. Arabic has sounds that English doesn’t. The “e” is added because it’s a sound from the throat, not “dash” as in “run quickly”.  But if you pronounce it “dash” like John Kerry does, you’ll be poking that much more fun while referring to them.

*and I’ll make diminutive forms of the word and not even capitalize it. Because F what the terrorists want.

Okay, But What About My Gay %Familymember%?

The last post was a logical explication of the wickedness of “gay marriage” as relates to the Christian church.  This one will perhaps step on your toes, if that one didn’t.

VFD, I have a homosexual (brother/son/father/sister/daughter/mother/aunt/34th cousin twice removed) and I love them!  Shouldn’t I be accepting of them, even if I don’t accept their chosen lifestyle?

No.  No, you should not.

 

If a person preaches a different doctrine than the one found in the Bible, they can still call themselves Christian.  Call themselves.  They can’t actually be one, but they can speak the words and call themselves by the name*.   What they have is in fact “another gospel.”  Living under another doctrine is the same as not living under any doctrine.  There is only one way to get forgiveness of sins.

⁹ Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

¹⁰ If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

¹¹ For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds. –2 John 9-11

which, being in the New Testament applies directly.  Also:

“¹² The Lord will cut off the man that doeth this,” . . . “When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the Lord, and he delighteth in them” -Malachi 2

No, this is no longer the day of the Old Testament.  God doesn’t cut people off with no second chances any more.  But God does not change.  You say someone doing evil (homosexuality) is doing good because they love their homosexual partner.  You want to give them your approbation when you should not.  You are listening to your heart again.  But that’s not new.  You suck at being good, and you know it.

The standard is perfection.  You will fail.  Your speeding on the way to work is the same as accepting your homosexual %relative% into your house with open arms.  These are sin. God hates it.  So: you have a choice. Accept and show respect to the decision of your homosexual relatives, and be an intentional sinner. Go against the will of God – or don’t.

The question is, whom would you rather please? 

… your confused relatives, or a God who knows very well those things of which he disapproves.  You are given the choice.  Just remember what God thinks about intentional continuation of sin.
